The Bilingual Senior Manager, Sports Marketing and Sponsorships will help build and manage sports partnerships in North America and globally. They will work with international collaborators to boost PR and social media efforts to increase program visibility. As the primary driver of sports marketing in North America, the Senior Manager will lead all sponsorship strategies and initiatives, while developing programs to support Distributor business. They will oversee agency relationships in sports marketing, experiential marketing, and activations, and encourage global sponsorship opportunities. The role requires strategic vision, global sports industry knowledge, and strong leadership to engage with C-level executives, government officials, sports agents, and professional sports leagues (e.g., MLS, NWSL, NBA, LaLiga). The Senior Manager will also implement sports marketing education initiatives to drive brand growth in performance and nutrition. How You Would Contribute
Oversee premium and senior sponsorships, including contract negotiations, campaigns, and analytics. Manage agency relationships and develop global sponsorship opportunities. Develop and implement the North America sponsorship and sports marketing plan, aligning with global initiatives, athlete programs, sponsorships, events, and communication strategies to increase brand awareness. Collaborate with regional teams on sponsorship activations and events. Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Creative, Digital, Communications, Sales/Distributors) to enhance sponsorship efficiency. Create tools to measure and analyze sponsorship performance, presenting insights to senior leadership. Serve as a liaison between industry partners, sports leagues, agencies, and community organizations. Support international events and globally sponsored athletes/teams attending sports functions in North America, integrating Distributor activation. Attend Distributor meetings, industry events, and other corporate functions as needed. Lead regional sponsorship promotions to drive engagement and excitement among Distributors, consumers, employees, and Preferred Members. Coordinate Distributor sports-related events, establishing long-term platforms for brand growth and the Distributor Difference. Qualifications
Skills and background required: 10+ years of sports marketing and sponsorship experience; agency experience preferred. Experience in CPG brands, experiential marketing, and global partnerships is a plus. Proficiency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking). Strong leadership, analytical, and relationship management skills. Experience collaborating with large, cross-functional teams. Excellent project management capabilities. Willingness to travel up to 50% and work evenings/weekends as needed. Expertise in sponsorship contract negotiation and marketing strategy. Experience creating presentations and delivering to large groups or senior leadership. Basic knowledge of the nutrition industry, performance, and health/wellness products.
