Responsibilities:
- New Business: Expand book of business with new lines of coverage, pursue new business opportunities, and cultivate connections with prospects.
- Relationship Management: Manage a book of business with a total revenue in excess of $500,000. Manage assigned book of business using technical insurance knowledge. Conduct proactive client renewal process. Provide insurance program coverage recommendations/improvements. Institute client service plans with extended team. Stewardship and delivery of service plans. Coordinate additional sales and renewal efforts with appropriate team personnel.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through prospect research, personal relationships, centers of influence, client referrals, social selling, and networking. Qualify prospected based on sales discovery guidelines. Develop and present proposals and lead sales presentations based upon effective discovery and a consultative selling approach.
- Continuing Education: Expand and maintain working knowledge of Property & Casualty plans, additional services offered in the department, and regulatory compliance by attending meetings, education sessions, research, and formal continuing education programs.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of successful Property & Casualty insurance sales experience required
- Property & Casualty agency license required prior to hire
- Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance principles and practices
- Excellent professional communication skills, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, while collaborating in a team environment
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
