Overview
Manage the ongoing requirements for monthly close for PR, Web Development, and Analytics groups within the Marketing organization, which includes accruals, reclasses, headcount and balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.Work directly with business partners to forecast and proactively manage risks and opportunities.Develop business processes and reporting to ensure business partners have a clear understanding of:Their financial plan for the year including headcount.Their current forecast and changes from Plan.Their current and YTD financial performance vs. Plan and prior forecast.Set control processes in place to manage spending and headcount within plan levels. Set-up and manage financial reviews with business partners every month to analyze results, forecast spending, and headcount. Ensure compliance with EA’s policies and procedures.Provide succinct analysis on various marketing contracts for CMO senior leadership team.Assist with consolidation and reporting to Corporate (close pack, R&O, etc.).Support ad hoc requests from executive management and CMO senior staff as needed – could include BOD decks, analysis for Earnings, staffing/spending analysis, etc.TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BA in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and 3-5 years minimum of relevant business experience.Advanced accounting and financial skills required; experience with Oracle a plus.Excellent MS Excel skills, competent with MS PowerPoint with the ability to create polished and streamlined management reporting.Experience with forecasting & analysis tools such as Essbase.Experience in fast-paced environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:
