Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.Juniper is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager to lead a team of technical marketing engineers in driving and owning technical marketing activities around Juniper Networks products and solutions geared towards the Service Provider (SP) and Enterprise markets. The Sr. Manager will become a key strategic partner to Juniper's go-to-market teams and R&D engineering teams to define, advocate for and drive the evolution of the product portfolio and target customer adoption.Responsibilities:The Sr. Manager will act as technology and technical marketing leader driving a cross-functional team of technical marketing engineers to execute Juniper's growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have both a technical and business/sales background, demonstrated experience in complex infrastructure, hardware, software, and service environments, as well as familiarity with the global SP and Enterprise telecommunications infrastructure market landscape and industry structure. Essential responsibilities include:Provide strategic technical guidance as the subject matter expert for platforms and/or solutions to help the product team drive Cloud Metro platforms strategy, product definition and program execution.Develop and communicate coherent solution stories focused on Juniper Networks routing, switching, and automation products capabilities for Enterprise WAN use cases.Leverage technical collaterals to communicate value proposition, architectures, and technology implementation details to customers and internal sales organization by delivering live webinars and demos.Produce Competitive Analysis collaterals that highlight Juniper Networks strengths and areas of improvements and keep them up to date.Evangelize Juniper's ways and vision for network transformation in the 5G and GenAI era via participating in external events (conferences/forums) and contributing to industry standards working groups.Identify gaps in product and solution roadmap via continuous validation against customer specific use case implementations.Work closely with the various sales teams to manage requirements and drive commitments within engineering organizations.Design and implement compelling Proof of Concept lab setups and demos for Enterprise WAN networking solutions, document results, and maintain relevant demos for availability and reproducibility by the sales engineers.Contribute to RFP/RFI responses and defenses, develop boilerplates for responses.Build and expand relationships with Enterprise customers.Minimum Qualifications:This role requires superior technical knowledge in the networking technology area and leadership capabilities with 3-4 years of people management experience. It also requires skills to build and drive deep-dive technical solution blueprints and network architectures, and to be a subject matter expert in at least one or two dedicated areas of SP, Enterprise, or Cloud networking technologies or network automation. Qualifications include:BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or Related Engineering field.At least 12 years of experience in routing and switching for Service Provider, Enterprise, or SP market.At least 5 years of experience in routing and switching for Service Provider, Enterprise, or SP market in a technical marketing or technical consulting and/or presale role.At least 3 years of experience in a managing role at large network infrastructure or network equipment producer organizations in QA, Consulting Engineering for Enterprise, SP, and/or Cloud providers.Excellent knowledge of routing and switching protocols including but not limited to IP/MPLS, SR/SRv6, L3VPN, VPLS, EVPN, OAM, etc.Knowledge of the hardware and software architecture of carrier-class routing and switching systems.Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the major vendors' products - Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, Arista. Experience with JUNOS is a plus.Proven track record of developing network solutions for complex service providers' networks.Ability to conduct thorough technical analysis of competitor products and solutions.Ability to articulate the value proposition of a product or solution.Excellent communication and presentation skills across different audience levels.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree in engineering and/or an MBA.CCIE or JNCIE certification level is a plus.Other Information:Travel requirements for the position: 10% to 20%.Is Relocation available for this position: No.Is Work Authorization required for the country in which the job resides: Yes.Is a Security Clearance required: No.Minimum Salary: $179,200.00Maximum Salary: $257,600.00The pay range for this position is expected to be between $179,200.00 and $257,600.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
