Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.The Lead Producer reports to the Executive Producer and collaborates with other Producers in the execution of television, radio, digital video, still photography and experiential projects from inception to completion — working within the creative and budgetary parameters set forth by the client, agency creatives and account teams, while maximizing the production value and agency profit. The Lead Producer is the primary manager of all budgets, schedules and communications for the production.Responsibilities:
Manage a local team of producers and editor(s).Represent the agency in a highly professional manner at all times, but especially when in the company of clients.Maintain strong vendor relationships nationwide and globally to maximize our production value with their services.Generate detailed production schedules and estimates for all jobs, and communicate changes regularly to project managers, creatives, account leadership, and third party vendors.Manage the post-production process to ensure timely completion of projects.Maintain complete production files for historical reference, including legal releases and usage rights.Reconcile production actuals for final client invoicing.Maintain Agency broadcast library, storage of masters and updates to Agency reels as needed.Assist the Studios leaders in development of internal motion/still production capabilities and processes.Research and keep current on directors, photographers, editorial/special effects/animation companies, and music/sound design companies for consideration in the production process.Ability to travel as needed, approximately 25% of the time.Perform other duties from time to time to meet the changing needs of the agency.Qualifications:
BA or equivalent, and/or work experience, with emphasis in marketing, public relations or business management.You've been a leading producer in an agency setting for 5-10 years with supervisory experience.You've got the smarts to learn from others quickly, then apply it on your own.You love juggling lots of things, and are always prepared for any production-related situation.You are a strong negotiator who can work within a budget.You love solving the pieces of the creative puzzle and pulling off a high-quality production.You enjoy the needle-in-the-haystack challenge of sourcing production partners to bring ideas to life.You understand all aspects of casting and managing talent (SAG/AFTRA & Non-Union).You understand licensing of stock assets and negotiating music rights.Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task.Demonstrated ability to handle high-stress situations with effective results.Excellent attention to detail.Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong desire to learn a variety of client businesses/markets.Proficient in Microsoft Office software.Desire to learn, be continually challenged and grow.
