Position Summary
:
The Senior Group Marketing Manager, Anterior Interbody Fusion (IBF), is responsible for driving the direction of the product portfolio and leading the team to execute on strategic initiatives for growth. This individual provides direction and support for products and applications and is responsible for portions of the design, implementation, and maintenance of future products and applications for the Anterior Interbody Fusion portfolio. The Senior Group Marketing Manager also provides technical, sales and management expertise and develops more junior team member’s competencies in marketing initiatives.
Essential Functions
:
Oversees the definition and validation of market requirements in collaboration with upstream marketing leadership
Maintains deep technical knowledge to support the sales force on product positioning
Manages the training and support efforts for relationship building with targeted surgeons and staff, as well as enhances the corporate image on all our innovative products and procedures
Responsible for team's execution of marketing programs to educate and engage surgeons on your products and platforms in support of the sales process
Owns revenue and margin targets for procedure portfolios
Manages team to create multi-channel marketing campaigns, including core content development, messaging and positioning, for procedural portfolio and ensure alignment across regions
Manages team collaboration to ensure regional requirements are incorporated as inputs in product management and product development processes as well as downstream marketing requests (e.g., support)
Provides regular weekly, monthly and timely feedback on a variety of topics, including sales performance and penetration, market feedback, new target accounts, ideas regarding sales growth and new product development opportunities
Consolidates forecasting, reporting and measurement of portfolio performance globally
Maintains a complete understanding of the relevant targeted market(s), including customer needs assessments, knowledge of competitive options, and market opportunity assessments
Performs other duties as assigned

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Qualifications
:
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8 years and a Master’s degree, or a PhD with 5 years' experience, or equivalent experience
Drive ownership across projects with a bias toward action, along with a clear ability to align project prioritization across multiple groups
Demonstrated ability to interface with multi-disciplinary teams and senior leadership across all facets of the business
Demonstrated ability to analyze and articulate complex sets of metrics and information into a clear written analysis
Preferred previous experience in medical marketing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail

Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
