Happens more than you think and because of this, we are seeking a skilled Technical Writer/SOP Specialist to collaborate with our client in planning, development, and maintaining, comprehensive brand standards for all kinds of branded materials, collateral, assets, etc., as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role will involve working closely with our client's team and partners to document guidelines that agencies can follow to ensure consistency, quality, and effectiveness in any designs, as well as creating user-friendly internal standards for our teams. The Technical Writer/SOP Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with these standards.
To be considered for this role, we are seeking the following:
3+ years of experience as an effective technical writer
Online portfolio of samples showcasing: SOPs, Standards/Style Guides, User Manual, etc.
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
Superb written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to clearly and effectively communicate goals, timelines and tollgates
Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process
Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needs arise
