Key Responsibilities Performs and supports daily email marketing activities involving initiation, setup, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of on time, recurring, or triggered email campaigns or newsletters. Participates in simple daily seed and mini seed tests for quality assurance. Supports daily, weekly, and monthly calendar assignment for prep deliverables and launch. Troubleshoots basic technical issues related to HTML templates. Identification/communication of requirements for list acquisition. Problem solving and best practice sharing between our customer groups. Campaign results reporting and analysis. Development of membership certificates. Development and maintenance of the group’s playbook, processes, and best practices. Education ● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing/Communication, Management, Computer Science or other technology field preferred (equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered). Work Experience ● Less than 2 years; Minimum 1-year related work experience required. ● Must have experience in campaign or email marketing communication administration or analysis, customer/client service, HTML coding, and demonstrated understanding of eCommerce technologies (platforms, recommendation engines, etc.) and key trends (mobile, social, SEO, etc.), list services, CRM or other demographic understanding required. ● Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms, preferably Marketo. Requires experience in nurturing leads, performing drip campaigns, and building/measuring marketing campaigns that boost customer retention and enhance the overall customer journey preferred. ● Experience with Smartsheets preferred. ● Experience with data analytics and visualization tools, such as Tableau preferred. ● Demonstrated experience in these areas a strong plus: Project scheduling, Data analysis, Customer relationship management tools, Web development and graphic design preferred. Skills and Requirements ● Demonstrated skills or interest in these areas preferred: Marketing communication, Email marketing and analysis, Campaign design and planning and Digital Analytics (Google/Webtrends). ● Passion for service, a customer focus and an analytical orientation. ● Proficiency in desktop applications required: M/S Office Suite, Internet, E-mail, strong Excel skills. ● Hand-code and debugging skills with HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent); Ability to troubleshoot. ● Willingness and ability to learn and apply new tools, technologies, and working strategies. ● Knowledge of content creation and launch strategies. ● Highly-driven to seek opportunities to improve/optimize internal processes. ● Interpersonal Skills: Critical to the success of this position is the ability to collaborate effectively with internal (staff) and external (business unit representatives, volunteers) constituents on goal-oriented projects and tasks. ● Experience with virtual collaboration tools helpful (VOIP, web meeting, online communities, etc.). ● Ability to work independently with minimal direction. ● Strong oral and written communication skills; Brevity and clarity essential. Must present ideas in a clear, concise, and meaningful fashion. As this is a high contact, client interface role - brief written communications include clear actions, agreements and deliverables; Must be able to effectively communicate in English with staff, and occasionally volunteers, who speak English as first or second language.
