Operational Marketing Manager (OMM)
is responsible for developing, implementing and executing operational marketing plans for the Advanced Materials (AdMat) Coatings business in the Americas.The role will work closely with the AdMat Americas Commercial, Technical, and Global Strategic Marketing teams to deliver a robust regional Marketing plan, in line with the overall divisional strategy.As the Regional Marketing Manager, you will:Develop and implement a comprehensive Regional Marketing Plan that supports the Global Strategic Marketing Plan and delivers Huntsman goals and objectives for the Americas.Have ownership for the regional plan from development to implementation, leveraging internal support to drive collaboration with all stakeholders and associates.Be accountable for delivering the plans annual market volume, revenue and margins (with a 2-year horizon) through active management of the 4Ps:
Product: Aligned with Product Management team, ensure the Coatings product offering meets the market needs and remains profitable for AdMat.Price: Aligned with the Pricing Management team, ensure the Coatings portfolio creates value through price optimization and competitive pricing strategies.Place: Aligned with Supply Chain and Commercial groups, ensure the coatings portfolio adds value through its chosen channel to market, distributors, 3rd party logistic providers, tollers, etc.Promotion: Aligned with Marketing Communications, define the collateral activities including print, digital, web, webinars, exhibitions etc.
Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and threats.Lead innovation projects through our Stage Gate process and collaborate with technical and commercial teams to manage a healthy innovation pipeline and leads to the development and successful launch of new products.Create a network of connections in the Coatings market that provides market insights and supports commercial lead creation. Participate in commercial meetings, trade shows, industry events and conferences.Engage with internal associates to provide training and build internal competencies around the Coatings market and end-use applications.Required Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.Bachelor's degree in Marketing with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or the Industrial Coatings market.Advanced degree in business, marketing, or economics discipline is desired.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong negotiation, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with ability to effectively prioritize competing deliverables and meet deadlines.Other informationDomestic travel to customers and industry events, up to 25% of the time.
