By joining our team, you'll play a critical role in this life-saving mission. We are seeking a Marketing Operations Associate to join our growing team.
JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Operations Associate is a support position that assists the marketing department with project management, market research, analysis and data management while performing daily marketing and communications activities to support organizational objectives. The Marketing Operations Associate plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed in the necessary timeframes. This position supports data, research, and analytics for the department to ensure desired outcomes are met using a data-driven methodology. The role will work in conjunction with the marketing team to ensure CBC is an active and strategic part of the community, enhancing brand awareness and creating data-centric recommendations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
Promotions Management:
•Create and implement special promotions or incentives to promote blood donation, in partnership with the Marketing Coordinator.
o Responsible for donor loyalty programs, including managing setup, testing, donor-facing communication, and ongoing management.
o Responsible for purchasing, budget assistance, and inventory of items related to donor incentives.
Project Coordination:
•High School Programs: in partnership with the Marketing Coordinator, coordinate logistics and provide support for the high school programs (Gallon Grad and scholarships), including the online systems and structures necessary to the donor experience.
Marketing Systems Management:
•Supports donor CRM marketing activities, including email marketing, text messaging, and voice message communication.
o Responsible for working with the team to develop content and creative assets needed to create the communication.
o Responsible for system creation, audience building/identification, and implementation.
•Supports and fulfill, in partnership with external vendors, print donor communication.
•Supports data needs for the marketing department, including obtaining data, analyzing data and coordinating data file needs with external vendors.
Research & Analytics:
•Conduct market research to identify donor demographics, habits, trends, and competitor tactics to apply this information to marketing and donor recruitment tactics and strategies.
•Conduct analysis on marketing and communication strategies needed to engage first-time donors, retain current donors, and understand engagement habits of platelet donors.
•Assist in setting and monitoring KPIs to measure the effectiveness of CBC marketing, advertising, and communication programs and strategies (including engagement, reach, referral traffic, etc.), provide analysis, and recommend and implement the corresponding changes to tactics or strategies. This includes traditional marketing outlets and digital outlets.
•Track and monitor performance and analytics for all projects to continually improve messaging and content and leverage report data to identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI.
•Provide regular analysis of the CBC website and social media.
•Stay up to date on new media industry trends and emerging digital channels.
Digital Marketing:
•Support digital marketing activities, including website, SEO/SEM, Google products, and online listing management.
•Update website as needed.
Marketing Responsibilities:
•Support community awareness initiatives by assisting in the planning and execution of community relations activities and special events.
o Analyze previous event results to ensure growth and improvement where applicable.
o Assist in special event planning, set-up, day-of execution, take down, and other duties as needed.
o Conduct educational programs and support tours for donor groups, businesses, and schools related to the importance of blood donation.
o Collect, track, and analyze donor numbers and sales leads generated by each event.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing research, business administration, or related field.
•1-3 years of professional experience in a related field.
•Experience with knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) posting and leveraging content.
•Proficient with Excel and Word in the Microsoft Office suite.
•Experience contributing professional work within an established brand voice.
•Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. Basic graphic design skills preferred, not required.
•Experience in managing multiple projects effectively and within set timeframes and prioritizing competing demands.
•Strong passion for enhancing communication and marketing using data and analytics.
•Understanding of traditional and digital marketing and market research methods.
•Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various types of documents and results, and write high-quality materials and articles in a pre-designed style and format.
•Analytical and creative thinking skills with attention to detail and curiosity.
•Compelling writing and sharp editing skills that span a range of platforms and diverse audiences.
•Possess excellent written and verbal communication, be highly self-motivated, and follow up on all actions with little direct supervision.
•Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, and be comfortable speaking to small and large groups while presenting information to internal and external audiences.
•Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-team capacity, manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•This position requires occasional moving of boxes weighing up to 20 pounds as needed.
•This position requires minimal travel and some evening/weekend availability.
