The Familie is a music and sports agency representing top talent across the entertainment and athletic industries. Headquartered in Nashville, The Familie also has offices in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, and San Diego. We offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated student to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of talent management.
Position Overview:
The Social Media Intern at The Familie will play a vital role in supporting our digital presence and talent initiatives. Working closely with our team, you will assist in developing and executing social media strategies for the company and its clients. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the entertainment and sports industries, while learning the ins and outs of talent management and social media marketing. This role reports directly to the President of Country Music.
Please note this is an unpaid internship, applicants must be eligible for class credit.
Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, execution, and strategy of social media efforts for key client brands across all verticals.
- Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms
- Manage company and client social media analytics reports
- Assist in client engagement by resharing and tagging relevant content
- Manage posting and community management for all client social channels
- Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates to recommend innovative strategies
- Support general office tasks related to social media management, such as file organization or note-taking during strategy meetings
Details:
Duration: 3-month summer internship, with flexible start and end dates based on the student’s academic calendar.
Hours: Approximately 24-40 hours per week.
Compensation: Unpaid; eligible for class credit.
Start Date: Flexible, depending on the student’s academic schedule.
Requirements
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Superior social media leadership, writing, research, presentation and project management skills
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Preference for juniors, seniors, or postgraduates
