The Daily Wire is seeking an experienced Account Executive, Audio and Digital Sales! This position will be responsible for managing existing business and uncovering new business opportunities, with a focus on key strategic agencies as assigned. If you're experience in podcast ad sales and can thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Business Development
Leverage mid to C level relationships across the audio industry to drive revenue for the company. Hunt for new business opportunities as needed to achieve revenue goals with a focus on both direct response and brand business
Sales Strategy and Execution
Understand client objectives, work with Sales Planning to synthesize and create strategic proposals. Achieve agreed upon sales targets within timeline. Coordinate all Sales with Sales Planning and Client Success teams. Comfortable pitching dynamic ad insertion, host read and programmatic opportunities. Can toggle between all three as needed to meet client/agency objectives.
Industry Knowledge and Innovation
Stay on top of industry trends and developments to help drive ad innovation for partners.
Reporting and Communication
Provide regular reporting to SVP, including but not limited to new sales, projected revenue, and warm leads.
Experience & Requirements:
- 10+ years digital sales experience
- Confident operating in the audio and digital sales ecosystem
- Passion and skill for selling; an excitement for pursuing, negotiating, and closing deals
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create and deliver custom presentations tailored to the partner's needs as needed
- Sensitive and attuned to what types of creatives are and are not brand-friendlyInterest in and/or familiarity with the political and editorial news landscapes a plus
Reports to: SVP of Ad Revenue
Start date: Immediate
Employment type: Full-time; Exempt
Compensation: Dependent upon experience
