Base pay range
$19.00/hr - $19.00/hr
The NOW is a massage boutique founded on the principle that self-care is a necessity, not a luxury. Designed as an oasis from today’s fast-paced digital society, it aims to offer high-quality, affordable massage services in an inspired setting. Since launching in 2015, The NOW has become a wellness destination for influencers and locals alike. With current locations coast to coast and more on the horizon, The NOW plans to expand its thoughtfully crafted menu, including customizable enhancements, healing products, and a unique design aesthetic across the U.S.
The Experience Guide manages reception and ensures smooth daily operations, including greeting guests, answering calls, assisting with questions, booking appointments, promoting memberships, checking guests in, customizing massages, and processing payments. Additional duties may be assigned to maintain operational efficiency and security.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional guest service to all visitors.
- Understanding and articulating The NOW’s mission.
- Arriving punctually for shifts.
- Opening and closing the boutique according to standards.
- Accurately booking, modifying, and canceling appointments.
- Greeting and acknowledging all guests entering and leaving.
- Explaining services, products, policies, memberships, and parking information clearly.
- Using computers proficiently for business purposes.
- Managing cash register and safeguarding guest financial data.
- Answering calls promptly and engaging guests professionally.
- Promoting services, memberships, retail, and special offers.
- Maintaining eye contact and a positive attitude when interacting with guests.
- Handling questions and concerns professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Keeping the work area clean, safe, organized, and stocked.
- Working independently and remaining at assigned posts for extended periods.
- Contributing to a positive, harassment-free workplace.
- Participating in training and staff meetings.
- Assisting with various operational tasks as needed.
- Reporting incidents involving staff or guests to management.
Position requirements:
- Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities.
- Efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic with excellent customer service skills.
- Basic math and money handling skills.
- Friendly, outgoing personality, and enjoyment working with people.
- Excellent communication, listening, and computer skills; team player.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $19.00/hour
