Job Description
Marketing Coordinator - Full-time (PT is a possibility)
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for all marketing activities of the company. This is a newly developed internal position. The Marketing Coordinator will work with Administration to produce marketing internally and coordinate with third party vendors. Flexible hours depending on project volume, which can be 32, 36 or 40 hours per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Brand Protection: Protect and promote the company's brand identity by ensuring consistency in messaging, visual
design, and tone of voice across all communications, including online reputation and presence.
Marketing Budget: Coordinate marketing to stay within budget as set by OFC board members.
Content Creation: Develop and manage content for various platforms including website, social media, email newsletters, press releases, and other marketing materials.
Social Media Coordination: Oversee social media accounts by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, monitoring interactions, responding to comments, and analyzing social media performance metrics.
Website Management: Update and maintain the company website with fresh content, ensuring accuracy and user-friendly navigation. Outsourced may be considered based on candidates experience.
Sponsorship Facilitator: Coordinate sponsorship requests by gathering information and provide feedback to Administration for decision-making.
Event Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with other members of Administration to organize and execute company events, such as trade shows and sponsored events, including logistics, marketing materials, and on-site support.
Marketing Campaign Execution: Assist in the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, email marketing, and public relations initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with Administration and Marketing Committee, department heads and outreach location contacts to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, pitch story ideas, and manage press inquiries.
Analytics and Reporting: Develop and/or track key performance indicators (KPIs) across marketing channels, analyze campaign data, and provide insights to inform future strategies.
Photography and videography (including editing and working with external vendors).

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and Squarespace
Work Environment:
Primary environment is home office in Mankato. The candidate could occasionally work remotely, as needed and approved.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education and Experience:
A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
At least five years of relevant experience in marketing and communications roles

Able to prioritize and multitask
Able to work with various personalities and receive feedback
Self-motivated to work independently and seek input from affected user groups
