Position Overview: As a Freelance Senior Packaging Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing packaging for our diverse range of home decor products. Please note, this role requires someone to be at HQ in South Plainfield, New Jersey to sync with the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative packaging designs for various product categories, including table linen, rugs, houseware, bath accessories, among others.
- Collaborate with Product teams to understand product specifications and packaging requirements.
- Ensure packaging designs are functional, cost-effective, and meet all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate the latest innovations into packaging designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in packaging design, preferably in the home decor industry.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Well-versed in using AI tools for concept development and design (ChatGPT, DALL-E, Midjourney).
- Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and visually appealing packaging designs.
- Excellent understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques, and manufacturing processes.
