Who We're Looking For: Senior UX/UI Designer - Wakefield, MA
We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who’s wired for problem-solving, rapid prototyping, and collaborative discovery. You’ll be a strategic partner at the earliest stages of product definition, and a core player in the triad of Product, Engineering, and UX/UI Design.
Our Product Mindset
We seek to create world-class tools that elevate performance, deliver white-glove services at scale, and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of automotive marketing. We succeed when we build the right things, build them the right way, and build them together.
A day in the life of a Senior UX/UI Designer - Wakefield, MA
- Be part of the early shaping process for product ideas, working with Product and Engineering to define problems, sketch solutions, and scope efforts.
- Build low- and high-fidelity UX prototypes that can be tested, challenged, and refined.
- Craft intuitive workflows and interactions that help internal teams move faster and make smarter decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout build cycles to adapt, improve, and deliver the right outcomes.
- Design experiences that incorporate dynamic content and real-time data, enabling the display of AI-driven outputs and recommendations within internal and client-facing tools.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems using atomic design principles and reusable component libraries to ensure consistency, speed, and collaboration across products.
Must Haves
- User Research & Insight: Conduct interviews, usability tests, and analysis to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Information Architecture & Journey Mapping: Design and optimize navigation and structure across C-4 products; visualize key touchpoints through journey mapping.
- Prototyping & Interaction Design: Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas and test user flows.
- Design System & UI Standards: Contribute to and evolve our design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all digital tools.
- Usability Testing & Iteration: Run usability studies and interpret feedback to continuously refine the experience.
- Emerging Trends & Tools: Stay current with UX best practices, design trends, and AI-influenced technologies that impact how we build.
- UX Advocacy: Champion the user experience across our Digital Services team and throughout the broader product lifecycle.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in design, technology, anthropology, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience with relevant training.
- 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio showcasing work across web-based applications, internal tools, dashboards, and data-powered interfaces.
- Proficient in Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools) with a solid understanding of design systems.
- Comfortable working within modern product development workflows, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Shape Up.
- Skilled in designing user flows, outcomes, and systems—not just screen-level UI.
- Thrive in early-stage, ambiguous product shaping and enjoy bringing structure to complexity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design thinking and rationale.
- Passionate about strategic, upstream UX work—not just final polish and mockups.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. The starting annual salary for this position is $80,000.00. The final salary will be determined based on factors such as skills, knowledge, and demonstrated expertise. We encourage candidates to discuss their salary expectations during the interview process.
