We are seeking a Senior Specialist Product Designer - UX/UI to join our Mastercard Safety Net team.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design efforts for new products and enhancements, from research and wireframes to visual design and developer handoff.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to understand business goals, system capabilities, and technical constraints.
- Conduct UX research with customers and stakeholders to inform priorities and validate designs.
- Translate insights into design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
- Contribute to and help evolve our UX Design System for consistency.
- Work with engineers and QA to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Help define UX best practices and processes within the Safety Net team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing UX for complex, enterprise web applications.
- Strong skills in UX research, interaction, and visual design.
- Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Ability to balance usability, performance, and development constraints.

- Understanding of product development lifecycle.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze financial information.
Benefits and Compensation
Competitive salary based on experience and location, with potential bonuses. Benefits include health insurance, paid leave, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and more. Location: O'Fallon, Missouri. Salary range: $99,000 - $158,000 USD.
