Navistar has an exciting opportunity for a
Product Manager
position on the Safety & Service Solutions team.
As part of the Commercial Market Planning team, the
Product Manager
will report to the Lead for On-Highway Vehicles.
In this position, the Product Manager will manage the near term product roadmap deliverables, and be the customer advocate for products, features, and services related to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Connected Solutions, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) for all International Truck and IC Bus models.
Responsibilities
Document scope in support of Business Strategy and Vehicle Level Attribute positioning, for new Program ChartersCoordinate and support needs of all Business Units for Technology Areas – ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), Connected Solutions, HMI (Human Machine Interface)Support execution of programs in progress to provide scope details, cross functional scope trade-off decisions, and volumesProvide Voice of Customer input to Quality, Cost, Custom, and Supplier changes impacting the product offering and manage feature code take rate requestsLiaison with Platform Chief Engineer on key product attribute trade off decisions and SQs (Special Quotations)Liaison for Product Program status to the Business UnitDefining the value proposition for pricing and positioning of scopeLead order conversion path and decisions for programs in conjunction with Program Manager, Business Unit leader, and PricingManage near term product roadmapSupport Sales Tool updates and downloadsSupport Configuration Managers with Program Master Model Index (Feature offering) developmentWork cross functionally and independently
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degreeAt least 12 years of marketing, sales or product-related experienceAt least 2 years of lead experienceORMaster’s degreeAt least 8 years of marketing, sales or product-related experienceAt least 2 years of lead experienceORAt least 14 years of marketing, sales or product-related experienceAt least 2 years of lead experience
