We are seeking a creative and visionary leader to head our global Front-End Innovation team, a dynamic group of designers, engineers, and inventors focused on pioneering new products. This role involves leading the development of breakthrough concepts, storytelling, and early-stage platform exploration, ultimately shaping the future of our iconic product lines. Responsibilities
Lead the Front-End Innovation team responsible for concept creation and design storytelling across all product categories. Inspire and guide a team of industrial designers and engineers to develop prototypes that communicate ideas effectively. Present future-focused concepts to stakeholders, connecting emotionally and aligning business goals. Foster a creative studio culture emphasizing hands-on making, iterative sketching, and advanced prototyping. Collaborate with engineering, R&D, marketing, and product teams to ensure concepts are feasible and strategic. Apply knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles to ensure ideas are achievable. Utilize user insights, trend forecasting, and emerging technologies to inform design visions. Promote a high-energy environment that values curiosity, creativity, and innovation. Maintain a consumer-obsessed approach, focusing on products that exceed expectations and lead markets. Qualifications
Degree in Product Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field; PDE background is highly valued. 15+ years of experience in product design and innovation, preferably in high-volume consumer goods. Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence and successful product commercialization. Proven leadership in building and mentoring creative teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas compellingly. Deep technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability. Passion for hands-on creation and experimentation. Insightful understanding of consumer behavior and market trends. Why This Role Matters
