Responsibilities
Work closely within the digital marketing team and stakeholders including Product Owners to ensure the development of world-class websites, portals, and mobile applications.Own the end-to-end user journey, from ideation, to prototyping (low - high fidelity), to user testing, and final productionCollaborate with Project Manager, SEO Specialist, Creative Services, and Site Authoring to solve complex UX problems with elegance and simplicity.Design wireframes for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms to visually depict screen flow, navigation, and interaction for optimal user experience.Educate stakeholders on design decisions and best practices.Gain user insights by conducting research, interviews and surveys to create user journey maps, affinity diagrams, quantitative data., etc.Explore multiple design solutions through A/B testingMake recommendations for site structure with SEO best practices and implications in mindAnalyze site performance data and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements
Experience with incorporating SEO best practices into your designProfessional portfolio to accompany the resumeSolid understanding of user experience disciplines such as UX architecture, research, usability, and content strategiesSolid understanding of new and emerging UX/UI design best practicesKnowledge of typography, color theory, spatial relations, and proportionWell-versed in web optimization and design elements implementationAdvanced knowledge of cross-browser compatibilityDemonstrated experience with responsive design and design for the mobile platform.Solid working experience with appropriate design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, +XD). Sitecore (or similar CMS), and Figma experience is a strong plus.Understanding of test methodologies such as Standard Usability Testing, Comparative Testing, Rapid Iterative Testing, and Prototype Testing
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in User-centered design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience.5+ years of professional design experience, including user experience design for web. Mobile application experience is a strong plus.
