Mediagistic is a rapidly growing national marketing agency primarily in the home service industry. We're looking for a Media Director with a deep background in media planning and strategic development across both traditional and digital channels. This role is focused on driving forward-thinking media solutions, ensuring campaigns are not only well-executed but also strategically sound and forward-looking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of comprehensive media strategies across mass media (TV, radio, print) and digital platforms (OTT/CTV, streaming radio, podcast, programmatic video)
- Translate client goals into impactful, data-driven media approaches with clear rationale and strong supporting data
- Identify and integrate innovative (emerging) media opportunities that enhance campaign effectiveness (keep campaigns ahead of the curve)
- Oversee and mentor a team of media planners and buyers, fostering strategic thinking and executional excellence
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on strategy, positioning, and execution
- Representation of media department for client presentations and internal trainings
- Oversee budget allocation, audience targeting, and campaign performance
Requirements:
- 5-8+ years of media experience with a heavy emphasis on planning and strategic development (agency experience preferred)
- Competent in media research and analysis, campaign development, media vendor negotiations, and campaign performance evaluation
- Must have hands-on experience using Freewheel (Strata) platforms for planning, buying and reporting workflows
- Proven ability to lead media innovation across traditional and digital channels (experience in programmatic a plus)
- Experience in leveraging media technologies for execution
- Prior experience managing and developing high-performing teams (buyers/planners)
- Strong foundation in both traditional and digital media
- Deep understanding of audience segmentation and performance metrics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
- Confident communicator able to turn complex media plans into clear, client-ready narratives
- Passion for media innovation and continuous improvement
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
This role reportsonsite 5 days per week(Monday - Friday). We are located in the Hidden River Corporate Park at Fletcher & I-75.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work. Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, and standing may be minimally required to complete tasks.
Travel:
Travel will be required rarely, if at all. Total travel time will be less than 10% of the time.
