Reporting to the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management Communications, the communications coordinator is responsible for assisting in coordinating communication efforts for the Office of Admissions, Texas One Stop (TOS) and the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA). Responsibilities
C
ollaboration and Relationship Management:
Assists the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management Communications in executing planned admissions marketing initiatives and assists with admissions and financial aid communication efforts. Develops and maintains collaborative and positive relationships with Admissions, TOS and OSFA staff, CSU partners, and other stakeholders regarding overall communications needs. Collaborates and supports team members to ensure work has exceptional execution and is on target, on time, and on budget. O

Assists with direct marketing of print and digital materials. Works closely with the assigned project manager to coordinate purchases of services and goods and manage relationships with external communications and marketing vendors. P
roject Coordination:
Coordinates assigned marketing and communications projects. Works with the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management Communications to manage the project owner and team's expectations appropriately. Provides weekly project updates to the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management Communications. Communications:
Plans, prepares and distributes communications to stakeholders. Evaluates proposed communications from stakeholders and provides feedback to align with the University's standards and best practices. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree. At least three years of experience coordinating communications related projects or comparable experience. Ability to understand client goals and reflect them in digital and print communication projects. Strong written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Must be comfortable collaborating in a team environment but can also work independently to meet deadlines. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications
More than three years of experience coordinating communications related projects. Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle concurrent projects with accuracy. Ability to problem solve and execute a plan of action. Experience working in a university environment and assisting individuals. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Salary Range
$53,052 Working Conditions
May work around standard office conditions. Use of manual dexterity. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation. Some nights and weekends required during peak periods. Required Materials
