UX Researcher/Designer (Remote, AEST hours) | Dijitally

Were now looking for an experienced UX Researcher/Designer to lead the UX strategy and execution for a major enterprise website redevelopment. Heres what youll be doing:
- Lead UX research and design across a large-scale, end-to-end website redevelopment project.
- Plan and conduct stakeholder workshops, user interviews, surveys, usability testing, competitor analysis, SEO and analytics reviews.
- Translate insights into user personas, journey maps, IA, user flows, and prioritisation frameworks.
- Design intuitive, high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and polished UX solutions using tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe XD.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, SEO, creative, and marketing teams to align design work with business goals.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on data, feedback, and evolving requirements.
- Champion a user-centric mindset across the team and business.
- Stay across UX best practices, accessibility standards, and emerging industry trends.
What youll bring:
- 3+ years experience as a UX Designer or UX Researcher/Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end project work.
- Proven expertise in user research, persona development, journey mapping, and IA design.
- Prior experience working with Australian or APAC-based clients and projects is preferred.
- Proficiency with leading UX and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD).
- A good understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS knowledge a bonus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to design.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
- A collaborative, proactive mindset and a passion for delivering seamless user experiences.
How we work:
This is a remote role, with core working hours aligned to the Australian AEST time zone. We value flexibility but trust you to manage your workload effectively. Youll stay connected with the team through Slack, G-suite, and email and your ability to communicate clearly and proactively will set you up for success.
