Barbaricum is seeking a Senior Illustrator to support Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) . This individual will work as part of a larger contracting group to provide support for NUWCDIVNPT Public Affairs Divisions' need for technical and creative guidance to include concept development, storyboarding, and graphic materials.
Responsibilities
Provide technical and creative guidance and expertise to the government by developing graphic design ,concepts, and messagesIdentify products to communicate to targeted audiences, draft project plans, identify sources of content, develop conceptual designs, and illustrate themes by completing story board segmentsDevelop deliverables for trade show exhibits, graphic presentations, and command videosDraft project milestones to meet project deadlines for review and approvalTravel to supported NUWCDIVINPT sites semi-annuallyPrepare technical illustrations, graphs, digital imaging, and technical information reportsQualifications
Active DoD Secret clearance requiredProficiency in managing graphic art design, photography, video, and illustration projectsExperience in providing art direction, planning projects, estimating costs, project timelines, and identifying project materialsProficient in the development of web designs and materials, internet sites, posters, and illustrations for subject matter experts in technical disciplines such as engineering and research & developmentDesired Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design preferredExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office, SharePoint, and internet software tools>
