Responsible for analyzing issues and developing testing and resolution strategies. STARTING SALARY HIRING RANGE: $32.49 - $43.83 per hour $65,579 - $91,166 annually CLASS DESCRIPTION: Performs intermediate professional work in technology and communication services under general supervision. Responsibilities include administering databases, developing data processing systems, providing computer programming, software maintenance, and systems design. Also involves interacting with user departments, software vendors, and estimating resource needs based on specifications. Additional related duties may be assigned. Prepare training materials and conduct end-user training on current and new systems. Lead support for SAP implementations, especially those integrating with Purchasing. Provide SAP support for Purchasing and Inventory end-users. Participate in design, testing, documentation, and training for SAP upgrades and new implementations. Design, test, and support reports and interfaces; maintain master data for Purchasing. Analyze problems and develop resolution strategies; work independently on major tasks. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have supervisory duties. Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Frequent sitting, using hands, talking or hearing; occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision and focus adjustment. The work environment is usually quiet. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
