Job DescriptionThe Vice President of Marketing and Communications is a strategic leader responsible fordeveloping and executing Bronson's comprehensive marketing, communications, and brandstrategies. Reporting directly to the executive team, this role ensures alignment with Bronson'smission, vision, values, and strategic goals while fostering a unified brand identity.This position oversees departmental operations, including team leadership, budget management,and cross-functional collaboration, and acts as the organization's spokesperson during media andcrisis communications. The VP also drives innovation in digital platforms, public relations, andemployer branding, ensuring Bronson is recognized as a healthcare leader and employer ofchoice.Key Responsibilities•Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a robust brand strategy that aligns withBronson's mission and strategic priorities. Define and refine brand positioning, voice, andidentity to resonate across all audiences and channels.•Digital Platforms: Oversee the website, intranet, and social media strategy incollaboration with IT and service leaders, optimizing engagement and usability.•Communication Growth Plans: Partner with stakeholders to design, execute, andevaluate communication strategies that support organizational growth.•Internal and External Communications: Craft compelling communication plans toelevate Bronson's mission and values. Build strong media relationships and lead crisiscommunication efforts.•Department Operations: Manage departmental operations, including project workflows,media purchasing, SEO, and reputation management. Develop and manage budgets toachieve strategic goals.•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments (e.g., HR, DEI,community engagement) to maintain brand consistency and develop a strong employerbrand strategy.•Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of marketingand communication efforts, adjusting strategies as needed.QualificationsEducation•Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, BusinessAdministration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required).•Master's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, BusinessAdministration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required).Experience•Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in marketing and communications,preferably in healthcare or high-performing health systems.•Proven expertise in brand strategy, digital platform management, internal/externalcommunications, media relations, and public relations.•Extensive experience in operational management, including budget oversight and projectmanagement within marketing and communications teams.•Strong understanding of healthcare consumer behavior, physician referral patterns, andindustry trends.Key Competencies•Strategic Vision: Translate organizational goals into effective marketing andcommunication strategies.•Collaboration and Influence: Foster partnerships across departments and ensureconsistent messaging.•Healthcare Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare systems andconsumer needs.•Leadership: Build and inspire high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative andinnovative culture.•Accountability: Ensure disciplined resource management and alignment with strategicobjectives.•Adaptability: Respond effectively to changing media landscapes, performance metrics,and crisis situations.•Communication Skills: Simplify complex issues and present clear, engaging messagesto diverse audiences.Leadership StyleThe ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with excellent negotiation and problem-solvingskills.
