The Digital Graphic Designer will be primarily responsible for designing and developing digital experiences, communications and campaigns, as well as interactive presentations for our law firm clients. This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of graphic design principles, interactive media, and the ability to translate complex legal information into visually appealing and easily understandable formats. This is a hybrid position located in Kansas City, MO.
Responsibilities
- Under direction of creative leadership, responsible for designing visual communications within larger firm initiatives, with an emphasis on digital graphics and interactive presentations
- Collaborates with attorneys and other corporate departments to understand presentation requirements and objectives.
- Creates visually appealing graphics, charts, and infographics to enhance the presentation of legal information.
- Ensures all presentations are consistent with the firm's branding and style guidelines.
- Incorporates multimedia elements such as animations, motion graphics, videos, and interactive features to enhance user engagement.
- Reviews and revises presentations based on feedback.
- Stays updated with the latest design trends and technologies to continuously improve the quality of presentations.
- Concepts and designs other various marketing materials for the firm, including but not limited to event branding, logos, wordmarks, campaigns, collateral, digital communications, social media imagery, reports, etc.
- Perform such other/additional duties as may from time to time be assigned.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), presentation tools (PowerPoint, Prezi, Mentimeter), interactive experience tools (Ceros) and motion graphics tools (Adobe After Effects).
- Strong understanding of interactive design principles and user experience (UX) best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Sense of urgency and being able to excel in a fast-paced environment is critical.
- Ability to receive feedback on design and implement changes/revisions to meet creative direction of project.
- Required: bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, or a related field.
- Preferred: proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a legal or corporate environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years design, portfolio showcasing previous work in interactive presentations and graphic design.
