About Pomegranate

Pomegranate is a textile & design brand of homewares and apparel known for our original and creative designs . At our flagship store in Lexington, KY, we bring together unique retail offerings, a thoughtfully curated wine bar, and an evolving event space — all designed to foster meaningful connections.

We’re looking for a dynamic and community-oriented Community Manager to join our team and lead the charge in building relationships, creating engaging in-store experiences, and growing our presence in the local Lexington community.

Responsibilities of our future Community Manager:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store events at our Lexington flagship location, from seasonal launches and workshops to wine tastings and private gatherings.
• Oversee and support the development of our wine bar and event space, ensuring seamless operations and a high-quality guest experience.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on strategic growth campaigns that align with company goals and enhance community engagement.
• Act as a local brand ambassador, managing and growing Pomegranate’s presence within the Lexington community through partnerships, sponsorships, and event participation.
• Ensure all events and wine bar operations comply with local laws and liquor license regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in event planning, coordination, and on-site execution (hospitality or wine/bar industry background strongly preferred, though not necessary).
• Working knowledge of local alcohol laws, permits, and licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in engaging with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Passion for community building, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.

This is an onsite role in Lexington, KY.

Applicants must be over 21 years of age, have reliable transportation and a valid driver license. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Due to the nature of this position, flexible weekend and evening availability is a must.
