Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist.
The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for planning, preparing, and disseminating information about the organization. They ensure consistent messaging through the organization and to external stakeholders.
The Corporate Communications Specialist helps develop communication strategies and content in support of business initiatives. They regularly communicate with business units to ensure the messaging is clear.
Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in corporate communications, preferrably in the life science industry.
This is a remote role and local candidates are preferred as visits to Manassas, VA or Gaithersburg, MD are infrequently required as needed.

ResponsibilitiesContent Development & Delivery
Focuses on the creation and distribution of various internal communication materials, such as newsletters, memos, and intranet content. This ensures a unified message across the organization and involves crafting key documents and presentations, as well as managing the delivery through appropriate channels.Communication Strategy & Branding
Work with internal stakeholders to develop communication strategies and content ideas in line with organizational strategy and in support of companywide initiatives.Engagement & Feedback Integration
Centers on fostering a two-way communication stream by regularly interacting with business units and stakeholders. It includes staying informed about organizational changes, and incorporating feedback to refine messaging and content ideas.
QualificationsBachelor's degree and 2-5 years' experience or equivalent experience.Degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, public relations, business, or a related field preferred.Corporate communication experience required. Knowledge of biotech or life sciences industry preferred.Strong writing and organizational skills, and attention to detail.Proficient with Microsoft applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
