Job Description The Associate Director, Operations will work directly with the franchise VP, providing operations, project management, and support across key BU projects. Responsibilities include managing scope, project plans, logistics, and schedules of strategic and tactical initiatives to support franchise priorities. This role also involves partnering with the AD, Communications, to ensure continuity of communications across the business unit.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the franchise VP to ensure clear direction and alignment between the Commercial organization, sales, and IBTs.
Integrate marketing, sales, and IBT strategies to enhance overall execution.
Manage scope, project plan, logistics, and schedule of strategic and tactical initiatives.
Establish organizational tools to drive project progress, meet deadlines, resolve issues, and escalate risks.
Collaborate with senior management, the communications lead, and other stakeholders to create, socialize, optimize, and implement commercial initiatives such as town halls, meetings, awards, and leadership development programs.
Work closely with the Director of Strategy for Neuroscience and Eye Care on key initiatives and BU deliverables.
Develop and manage the franchise master calendar supporting sales, marketing, and internal stakeholders.
Enhance employee engagement through new communication channels.
Stay updated on digital trends to optimize strategies and recommend new platforms.
Evaluate performance metrics for projects and communications, refine strategies, and ensure cohesive stakeholder communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or Master’s preferred.
Minimum of five years in sales leadership, marketing, or relevant in-house experience.
Advanced project management and communication skills.
Knowledge of market trends and issues related to AbbVie.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and project ownership skills.
Outcome-oriented with high attention to detail.
Excellent relationship management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate and influence without authority.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex content clearly and engagingly.
