Primary Purpose:
To provide guests with an excellent banquet experience.
Work Performed:
The Banquet Associate will be responsible for:
- Setting up and breaking down banquet meeting spaces according to Banquet Event Order instructions, including audio-visual equipment and other event provisions;
- Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces before, during, and after events;
- Communicating effectively with guest contacts to meet guest needs and providing excellent customer service;
- Managing audio-visual equipment during events;
- Following all safety and security policies, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management;
- Performing any other duties necessary to fulfill the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Preferred Prior Experience: 6 months serving experience with medium to large groups
Preferred Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses/Certification: Food Safety and Alcohol certification, to be completed during initial 90 days
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs; ability to bend, squat repeatedly; ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
