Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Primary Job Duties:Adheres to Hill Group policies and proceduresUtilizes HydraTech, an AutoCAD and Revit based software program to provide layouts and drawingsParticipates in project turnover and pre-planning meetingsProduces accurate design drawings for installation and submittalDesign and draft fire protection systems in accordance with all applicable codes within the scope of the contractConforms piping arrangements to meet standard product usage as well as the most efficient installation, fabrication, and stock listing techniquesIn conjunction with the Sales Team you will plan, organize, and execute projects through activities such as: on-site field surveys, generating hydraulic calculations, submitting drawings to obtain required building permits, 3D BIM coordination, and preparing stock listsRepresents the company in matters of project coordination, scheduling, change requests, and technical assistanceMeets design hours estimated on projects, ensuring adherence to proposed project timelinesObtains all necessary approvals and reviews of project design dataMaintains organized record of active projectsReviews specifications to understand the scope of workPerforms other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Minimum 3+ years of Fire Design experiencePrior experience designing various types of fire protection systemsNICET certificationDegree in engineering or similar fieldKnowledge of industry specific software and codes
