Job Description
We are seeking a
Marketing Manager
to drive awareness of the hotel and outlets. The ideal candidate is tenacious, organized, detail-oriented, results-driven, and capable of executing tactical marketing initiatives aligned with our overall strategy. This role involves close collaboration with operational teams and third-party agency partners. Creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure are essential.

On-property in San Diego, CA
Responsibilities
Establish marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability.
Develop and execute marketing plans and programs for short and long-term growth.
Assist with integrated marketing plans and calendar.
Manage media strategy, scheduling, and execution.
Collaborate on retargeting, social media, programmatic advertising, and SEO strategies.
Develop and maintain a 90-day email marketing calendar, including planning, writing, executing, and tracking campaigns.
Monitor, measure, and analyze campaign performance and market research data, reacting promptly to changes.
Conduct website content audits for accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with revenue management and sales teams on promotional packages.
Work with department heads on strategic planning and goal setting.
Support social media promotions in partnership with the PR team.
Review, edit, and proof all marketing collateral.
Track and report on marketing program performance.
Manage marketing budget and forecast accurately.
Stay informed of marketing trends and competitor activities.
Ensure internal and external communications reflect the brand.
Participate in weekly revenue and marketing meetings.
Oversee online profiles and monthly reports.
Conduct regular marketing meetings with partners.
Adjust strategies based on market reactions and data analysis.
Maintain positive relationships with resort associates and resolve problems effectively.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in traditional and digital marketing, preferably in hospitality.
1-2 years of experience in hotel or hospitality marketing with responsibilities in digital and communications.
Degree in communication, marketing, or related field.
Strong knowledge of social media trends, content management, and creative development.
Proven success in executing effective marketing campaigns.
Compensation
Pay range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
