We are seeking a high-caliber Marketing Manager to join our team on a long-term basis. The role is based in Tustin, CA, with occasional travel throughout Los Angeles, CA. The Marketing Manager will work under the direction of the Executive Director and collaborate with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other stakeholders to enhance our services and programs for members. Key Responsibilities
Education:
Develop strategies, content, and plans to educate the industry about the association. Social Media:
Maintain and enhance all social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook); develop and execute marketing campaigns and content. Event Planning:
Organize and execute association events, manage logistics, vendors, marketing materials, registration, and relationships with event staff. Website:
Enhance and optimize the website. Marketing Materials:
Gather content/stories for marketing materials, distribute, and update as needed (brochures, newsletters, industry notices). Political and Industry Engagement:
Coordinate industry notices, political action, union events, apprenticeship programs, and manage ticket distributions for various sports and entertainment events. Member and Affiliate Relations:
Serve as the main liaison, grow the number of associates and affiliates, and explore new programs and events. Legislative and Community Outreach:
Engage with labor and city officials, coordinate legislative involvement, and increase management visibility. Qualifications
Motivated self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Interpersonal skills to interact effectively across labor and management levels. Bachelor’s Degree and extensive computer software experience. Availability for after-hours work and occasional travel.
