WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will manage, mentor and develop a core team as you lead all aspects of product marketing for Box platform and integrations, including:
- Lead our GTM strategy for platform and integrations: Develop and execute a strategic GTM plan tailored to grow our API-based business, from identifying the ideal customer profile for the platform, to developing core messaging, to driving a strategy to generate demand and build pipeline. At the same time, continue to drive integrations and launch momentum and adoption.
- Position and monetize our API products and integrations: Leverage your deep knowledge of our developer customers and our competitor set to craft compelling messaging and positioning with an eye towards competitive differentiation for our API and integration products. Your expertise will serve as key inputs on packaging and pricing decisions for our products.
- Drive pipeline development and scaling: Implement scalable lead generation programs and pipeline development initiatives to fuel the growth of our API business. Develop content for platform campaigns to drive developer awareness for the Box platform. Drive adoption of Box APIs by demonstrating their value proposition and showcasing real-world use cases.
- Lead our ecosystem launch strategy: Bring new and updated platform products and integrations to market, taking the lead on launch strategy, planning, timelines and more to ensure maximum impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners: Work across our Product, Developer Relations, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success teams, as well as with your fellow leaders across Marketing; you'll build strong relationships and provide clear communication across the entire organization.
WHO YOU ARE
Box Executives are a cohort of engaged and passionate leaders who are customer-centric and embody innovation and growth mindsets. As a leader in this role:
- Proven experience (8-10+ years) in product marketing within the technology industry, preferably with a focus on developer products or platforms.
- Strong understanding of developer ecosystems, including familiarity with developer tools, APIs, SDKs, and platforms. Experience executing compelling messaging and successful product marketing strategies to drive developer adoption and engagement.
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform product marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Leadership experience, including the ability to lead and mentor a team of product marketers.
- Passion for technology and a deep understanding of developer communities and their needs.
