The Communications Manager roles and responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the Workday Project Communication Strategy. Develop and maintain the communication plan and roadmap for the Workday project. Write and deliver project and organizational communications across all communication vehicles. Update and support deliverables for the Workday Change Management Plan. Develop/deliver project communication materials with the client's team, aligning with the organization's brand and messaging standards. Update and support the roadmap for overall communications efforts. Coordinate with the change management/transformation leads, to support all project communication activities. Escalate items to the PMO, ERP project director and sponsors, as appropriate. Participate in PMO, executive and sponsor meetings and activities. This role works closely with functional communications specialists/managers, including IT and HR, to ensure that all communication efforts are aligned and integrated across the organization, and is responsible for managing the flow of information between departments. Experience managing complex, multi-faceted communication plans involving multiple stakeholders and audiences. Experience writing for print and online channels (e.g., newsletters; flyers; brochures; websites; blogs; etc.). Perform other duties as required.
