SUMMARY

This role is instrumental in the planning and creation of a customer-first social media content strategy. The Social Media Manager collaborates with our in-store marketing, website, events, merchandising and email team members to develop content and cohesive plans that communicate our brand and elevate our relationship with our guests. This role delivers metrics and ROI through engagement and conversions through all of our social channels. This role has great growth potential for managing direct reports as we build out our digital and social teams. This position is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the Home Office and 2 days remote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSpearhead holistic content planning for all types of social media channels with consumer experience top of mindBuild and manage universal content calendar reflecting the coordination of website, in store, email, vendor, digital and social promotion for seamless timing of promotional executionCreate and execute a blog calendar that helps drive domain authority and provides relevant information to our guestsGuide social media strategy and innovation with new platforms and mediums and manage and develop content that resonates with each different platformManage and create video content and on figure photo session for social platforms to leverage engagementManage outside agencies, contractors, and intern to maintain a steady flow of on brand content that resonates with each social platformConduct continuous evaluation of digital space, competitive landscape and emerging platforms, tools and technologies to drive enhancements to processes and contentDevelop and maintain a dashboard of metrics to present to Director of Marketing for ROI on social channelsProvide educational tools to other departments, associates & management to improve overall company social media creation involvementHire and manage social intern with potential to become full time positionPerforms other duties as assignedEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5-7 years social media and content marketing experienceBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field requiredAdvanced knowledge of all major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat)Exceptional ability to develop clear, concise and eye-catching presentations for a range of audiences and needsExceptional communication skillsUnderstanding of content consumption, social media and purchasing behaviorMust be a self-starter who combines a high level of creativity and energy with strong project management skillsMust care deeply about - and work to foster - positive team culture and collaboration, even amidst a challenging and demanding workloadAbility to handle multiple projects and complete tasks quickly and effectivelyAbility to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.Ability to identify emerging issues, quickly assess risk and escalate.
