POSITION SUMMARY

This is an entry-level position on our Business Development team. This position contributes to Samuel Engineering, Inc.'s (SE's) business development, marketing, and project development strategies by ensuring "no one lets the ball drop," assisting the team members in presenting an excellent brand to our clients and target markets.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSIndustry event planning and coordination; including organizing events, booths, tradeshows, college fairs, etc., coordinating participants at events, event set-up and tear-down, registrations and logistics.Responsible to attend weekly Project Development meetings, take notes in these meetings, and provide a summary of action items to relevant participants.General internal company meeting coordination, including setting up meetings according to calendar availability, sending invites, hosting web meetings, preparing Agendas and other meeting materials, coordinating with the administrative team for food and beverages and client/guest welcomes, and preparing conference room.Learn SE's potential services, history, methods of execution and past projects.Help prepare and distribute relevant marketing materials (brochures, SOQ, project sheets, etc) to current and potential Clients.Upload Social Media posts and understand social media analytics, learn SEO capabilities, and assist with website updates.Attend occasional industry events, client meetings, conferences, site trips, etc.Encourage a "winning culture" within SE -one characterized by high morale, positive thinking and a "can do" attitude; consistent with SE's Mission of "We Provide Solutions."Maintain a positive attitude at all times amongst clients, vendors, peers and internal SE team members. You are on the front lines of fostering SE's brand in the public and must always represent the best qualities for which SE stands.Act as SE's "Brand Ambassador" both in the office and at outside events. This role represents a mindset in which the positive qualities that our Clients see in us and our keys to success are always at the forefront of everything that we do.Will learn how to navigate within SE's Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform.Basic Knowledge of technology such as DSRL camera usage, basic (entry-level) photo and video editing.Strictly adhere to SE's Core Values and Keys to Success.A creative mindset.DIRECTION RECEIVED

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diplomaBasic knowledge of social media platformsEvent Planning/Organization SkillsBasic knowledge of design platforms (e.g. Canva, Adobe Premier, etc.)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly OutlookBasic knowledge of videoconference solutions (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PER JOB LEVEL

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Long hours in front of a computer. Set-up and Tear Down of booths, tents, etc. Can pull/push up to 50 lbs on wheels.
