JOB SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer creates a wide variety of creative assets that help tell the story of itel and establish the itel brand as an innovative, fast-growing insurtech company. The Graphic Designer is responsible for a wide variety of projects, including but not limited to content marketing assets like whitepapers and case studies, social media assets, internal documents like Employee Benefit guides, sales decks, board presentations, and more. A strong portfolio of graphic design experience with the ability to flex and occasionally support a simple video edit, photograph touch up, or landing page layout. This is a net-new position on a growing marketing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and produce graphic assets for all use cases and all audiences across the enterprise. Assets will primarily include document design, traditional graphic design, and slide decks.Collaborate with requestors to understand their needs and goals.Manage queue of graphic design requests and work with Director of Marketing to prioritize; communicate effectively with stakeholders as projects progress.Help define, document, and maintain robust visual brand standards.Partner with the marketing team to create compelling and eye-catching marketing campaignsROLE QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED

At least 3 years' experience in a graphic design role, or equivalent.Knowledge in PDF design (e.g., product sheet or whitepaper), traditional graphic design (e.g., ads or social media posts), and presentation design (e.g., sales deck or pitch deck)Expert with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, InDesign, and IllustratorExcellent eye for designKnowledge of current best practices and trends in graphic and document designPREFERRED

Bachelors degree in graphic design or similar fieldPortfolio of work to demonstrate during interview processMarketing agency experienceStrong collaborator with demonstrated experience working with a variety of stakeholders (both in and out of marketing).Ability to effectively balance multiple tasks in a fast-pace environmentExcellent written and verbal communicationKEY COMPETENCIES

Work is performed indoors in a typical office environment - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.Frequent use of office machines to include telephone, computer, and printerAnticipated travel for work approximately 3 times a year for internal team meetings.
