Graphic Designer - P/T TEMP(Contractor) to PERM

Job Overview:

We are looking for a part time Graphic Designer to work 40 hours a month, collaborate across departments and produce creative work that is consistent with existing brand guidelines. This role will support the design and creative functions for The Cordish Companies and Live! Entertainment Districts in all marketing channels. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a good handle on the latest design trends and best practices.

Part-time contractor 40 hours a month. Must complete W3 aka 1099Individual will be evaluated after six months depending on your performance and company work load/upcoming projects to become a permanent employee.

Responsibilities:

· Conceptualize, design and implement creative graphics for both print and digital

· Develop and design layouts, inclusive of copy and images for sales collateral (PDF and PPT), digital ads, onsite promotional materials (banners, printed collateral), etc.

· Update existing presentations and collateral, design new ones, create branded collateral for company presentations and trade shows

· Assist marketing team with edits to digital asses (email, landing pages, content downloads) inside selected web marketing tools

· Perform retouching and manipulation of images for new business mockups

· Coordinate with the marketing departments to confirm marketing objectives, creative direction and brand consistency

· Manage design revisions and approval of artwork and information accuracy

· Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

· Edit and deliver graphics in the format necessary within a quick turnaround

· Maintain up-to-date insight of trends and styles in graphic design

· Manage own day-to-day work and deadlines, as well as long term projects

· Ability to edit videos for company website and other social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn is a plus

· Knowledge of HTML/CSS for updates to website is a plus

· Photographic rendering experience (Lumion or comparable) is a plus

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design or related field

· 2-4 years of graphic design experience

· Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web

· Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and other graphic design software as well as Microsoft PowerPoint

· Experience with HTML/CSS is a plus

· Experience with Lumion or comparable software is a plus

· Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects

· Strong analytical skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong communication skills

· May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holiday
