Lead Floral Designer

360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a renowned high-end floral design company to place a talented and experienced Lead Floral Designer with their dynamic team. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude who can take initiative and manage work independently in a fast-paced environment.Qualified candidates will have 15+ years of experience as a floral designer with a portfolio that represents different styles and scales of work.Pay: $80,000-$100,000 + CommissionMedical/Dental/Vision/401KLocation: Long Island City, NYAs a Lead Floral Designer you will:Lead client consultations, develop proposals, and create design boards during the sales process.Conceptualize and execute high-end event design projects, ensuring alignment with the brand aesthetic and budget constraints.Oversee and participate in the setup and execution of floral installations and events.Work in studio and off siteMaintain a comprehensive understanding of the floral business, making informed decisions on purchasing and production planning.Participate in procurement and buying strategy with floral vendors.Lead team of floral designers, ensuring every project is given attention and care; provide world class customer service to all clients.Train and develop floral design team, providing continuous feedback in an positive, professional manner.Create project plans for workflows, providing structure and accountability to being on time, task and in budget.Qualifications:15+ years of experience as a floral designer in a high-end design setting.Proven track record of leading design teams and providing training.Expertise in event floral design and large weekly floral projects, both in-studio and on-site.Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Proficiency in floral buying strategies and vendor interactions.Excellent communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.Availability to work full-time, including weekends, early mornings, and nights.360 Talent Avenue is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
