North America Consumer Marketing Manager

Detailed DescriptionReporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, North America, this role is designed to be the day-to-day owner of outward facing consumer marketing and campaigns for our in-school product lines.

Marketing mix includes digital marketing, social media, influencer and brand ambassador programs and earned media. This role works closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing and broader marketing team to create and execute strategic marketing plans in line with budget and KPIs.

In this role, you will interact with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders and will conduct regular communications with the relevant teams at Schleich HQ in Germany.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Works with Sr. Dir of Marketing to create KPIs and an executable plan for growth of the in-school product lines within the context of the annual consumer marketing strategy and top-level objectivesCreates and manages a corresponding annual budgetWorks with our sales and trade marketing teams to insure full-funnel thinking and focus for all in-market activitiesManages ongoing content creation to actively engage and grow our audience of kids ages 5-12 with our fast-growing owned brands of Horse Club, bayala and Eldrador CreaturesActively seeks new media and partnership opportunities for building brand awareness of the in-school product brandsRegularly tracks consumer trends and competitor products for this target consumer to inform the broader Schleich teamsManages and regularly works with our support agencies (media and PR) for campaign executionCollaborates with our brand marketing teams at Global HQ for SchleichTracks and reports success through quantifiable metrics and implements a plan for improvement built on test/learn mindset

Requirements:

5+ years of consumer marketing experience preferably in a CPG environmentKnowledge of marketing to families and children including familiarity with COPPA regulationsExperience in working with content creators/influencersExperience on community building, management and/or sales on TikTok and YouTubeThorough understanding of media platforms relative to reaching kid audiences in North America such as OTT, In-app advertising, gaming platforms and social mediaProficiency in Microsoft office 365Ability to work on site at least 3 days per week
