We're looking for a well-rounded UX Designer to join our team as we continue to grow our brand and build cohesive experiences across expanding products. The 1-800 Contacts UX Design Team is chartered with constantly improving our ecommerce storefronts, digital tools, programs and products. This role is essential in designing customer journeys, interactions and interfaces that drive business results and a premium customer experience.Why you want this jobYou love researching and testing ways to improve the customer experienceYou're passionate about creating cohesive end-to-end experiencesYou enjoy putting your visual design skills to work and you have strong working knowledge of design and prototyping toolsYou love working on responsive e-commerce websites, apps, and online toolsYou enjoy working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with peers outside of your immediate area of expertiseWhat you'll doConduct qualitative and quantitative research - interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather user insightsAdvocate for the user, ensuring that their needs are prioritizedDesign various stages of programs and experiences, from journey maps and user flows to wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity user interfacesCreate new experiences and iterate on existing onesPartner with cross-functional product development teams including developers, product managers, QA, and analystsCollaborate with strategic initiative owners to create experiences that span multiple touchpoints across web, app, CRM, etc.Work closely with content designers and writers to create cohesive brand messages and experiencesWork within our design system and help continue developing itWhat you'll needA minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in UX design (ecommerce is a plus)A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects, demonstrating a range of skills from research and ideation to final design and implementationStrong working knowledge of design and prototyping software (we work in Figma)An amazing attention to detail and a passion for creating thoughtful work, including visual design skillsExcellent communication and people skills, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skillsThe ability to work a hybrid schedule (1-2 days per week) out of our Draper UT officePerksFree eye exams for your entire familyDeep discounts on lenses, glasses, and other servicesAmazing healthcare coverage401(k) matchFlexible PTOTuition reimbursement programIn-house restaurant with highly discounted meals (Steak dinner under $6)Free snacks, ice cream, and drinks every dayFull onsite gym
