Summary

The Field Marketing Manager leads the tactical and strategic direction for all SPI brands’ field marketing initiatives. The Field Marketing Manager will be at the forefront of creating engaging and memorable offline and digital experiences that fuel business goals. This includes spearheading and executing branch events, tradeshows, conferences, and webinars, and developing, implementing, and measuring comprehensive marketing programs to support field initiatives. The Field Marketing Manager owns the development and inventory management of collateral across all channels and is responsible for partnering closely with internal and external teams to create and maintain sales support materials. This position also includes brand marketing support, such as writing landing page and blog content, creating social media assets and posts, and building marketing emails. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated problem-solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong proficiency in graphic design, and a passion for identifying opportunities to meaningfully innovate and differentiate.

Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Research, plan, and execute physical and virtual events, trade shows, and conferences to support sales goals, generate qualified leads, engage customers, and enrich vendor partnershipsEstablish and routinely optimize operational processes and manage deliverables for event marketing initiatives, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and touchpointsDevelop, implement, and monitor demand generation and account-based marketing strategies and track and report ROI to evaluate program effectiveness and forecast potential future investmentsTrack, monitor, and report leads, ensuring proper documentation and sales follow-throughPartner with cross-functional internal and external teams, including sales, management, and strategic partners to identify, create, and manage collateral across all brandsProduce compelling digital content that drives conversions and encourages brand loyalty, such as landing pages, blog and social media posts, and marketing emailsMaintain alignment between sales and marketing teams with respect to nationwide and regional strategiesAssist in managing timelines and deadlines for marketing projects to ensure timely deliveryStay informed of industry trends and best practices, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform lead generation and retention strategiesEnforce brand guidelines for SPI and portfolio companies across all channels

Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or similar discipline from an accredited university5-7 years demonstrated experience in field marketing or brand marketing with successful, measurable contributions to event marketing staregy and executionStrong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop (samples of work required)Superior communication and presentation skillsEmbodies a sense of urgency and self-motivationExceptionally organized and detail-orientedCollaborates positively and effectively throughout all areas of the businessExperience in B2B preferredDistribution experience a plusWork Environment
