Our major tech client is looking for a

Senior UX/UI Designer

to join their Devices & Services Design team to work on the TV Streaming experience, designing entertainment experiences. They are looking for a

Senior UX/UI Designer

with experience leading the definition and design of internal tools. These internal tools will be used by the developer partners to improve the TV user experience and positively impact the experience of millions of customers. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of world-class multi-disciplinary designers, product managers, and developers.

This is an opportunity to own the end-to-end experience for several key internal tools. From the beginning, you will play an integral role in helping to define the problem, driving alignment around key customer experience outcomes, building workflows, iterating and testing using low-fidelity prototypes, and designing highly usable internal tools. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment. You must be able to lead projects and move forward in the face of complexity and ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities:Own the end-to-end process, from problem definition to deliveryUse business requirements, user and market research to assist in developing scenarios, use cases and high-level requirements to shape product strategyWork with partners to identify key jobs to be doneDesign the UI architecture, interface and interaction flows for new TV experiencesExplore and communicate your ideas for new experiences using wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypesDevelop conceptual models that work across a system of devicesDesign highly usable digital experiences by rapidly prototyping, testing and iterating on designs with internal partnersDevelop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patternsEffectively work with project managers to plan projects for effective delivery while maintaining high standards for designBe a passionate and effective advocate for design with non-design audiencesWrite effectively to communicate design rationales and benefits to customersGuide a cross-functional team and elevate the culture of UX thinking and design excellenceAbout the Team:

You will join a team of designers working across devices to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Customer obsession is at the core of all of their design decisions. The team works cross-functionally to craft scalable, cohesive, and usable solutions. Basic Qualifications:

6+ years of design experienceAn available online portfolioKnowledge of best practices for information architecture and designHave work samples demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devicesPreferred Qualifications:

Experience working with product managers and engineers to understand technical requirements and the ability to translate these into user experience requirementsExperience working end-to-end with product and developer partners: defining problems and customer experience outcomes, building work-flows and evaluating prototypesFamiliarity with Material UI (React) component libraries and experience adding to, maintaining, managing and scaling design systemsExperience building, testing, and shipping digital productsExperience with agile development methodologies and experience iterating on your designs by gathering user/partner feedbackExperience prototyping user journeys using Figma, ProtoPie or similar toolsSystems design experienceStrong presentation, storytelling and writing skillsExperience presenting design work to user experience teams, product and engineering teams, and executives for review and feedbackWorking knowledge of the foundations of engineering principles and how design translates into code

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $64.03 - 71.14/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable)
