Through evidence-based, goal-centered, professionally supported programming, BBBS of NYC provides consistent support and guidance to matches that result in longer, stronger match relationships that advance the social-emotional development and academic progress of young people across the five boroughs.JOB SUMMARY:The Marketing and Communications Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City will oversee the design and development of multi-media collateral for the organization. This role requires a blend of creativity, project planning, and strategic thinking, as it involves both hands-on design work and the management of our social media presence. The ideal candidate will be adept at execution and storytelling aligned with our asset-based, strengths-focused approach and can foster engagement with our diverse stakeholder community through various media platforms.RESPONSIBILITES & DUTIES:Lead the design and development of collateral for at least six special events annually and ongoing organizational collateral needs. Responsible for the visual creative process from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with the BBBS of NYC brand identity.Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to develop and execute campaigns, projects, and strategies that advance our brand and support ongoing recruitment and fundraising efforts.Plan and design print and digital projects, ensuring they meet audience needs and strategic goals.Support the COS with the production of the Annual Report and help craft compelling narratives to foster support and engagement from the organization's stakeholders.Liaise with external vendors, including mail houses, production teams, and printers, to ensure timely and effective design and project execution.Offer graphic design support for a range of projects and materials as required.Responsible for transforming, refining, and formatting assets and videos to suit the requirements for marketing, social media, and programmatic needs.Oversee and maintain active social media profiles, guaranteeing a minimum of 3-5 weekly posts, and provide social media coverage and assistance during BBBS of NYC events.Plan social media collateral and strategy in partnership with the Chief of Staff, using compelling narratives to effectively communicate BBBS of NYC's mission, vision, and impact.Oversee the design, writing, editing, and layout of the organizational newsletter, ensuring it aligns with the BBBS of NYC brand and is distributed through email marketing tools.Ensure the organization's website is kept up-to-date with current content, events, news, and resources, reflecting BBBS of NYC's activities and maintaining an engaging user experience.Other duties as assignedCOMPETENCIES:Project Management:

Identifies and capitalizes on marketing and branding opportunities. Takes ownership of projects and demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal oversight while keeping others informed of progress and seeking guidance when needed.Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.Experience in marketing and communications, particularly in a nonprofit setting.Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.Ability to elevate our brand, paying close attention to details and staying current with marketing trends.Experience managing social media platforms and understanding social media strategies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Exceptional organizational skills.Strong commitment to project completion, clear communication of project progress, and ability to identify potential obstacles to ensure prompt resolution.Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and seek guidance as needed to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.Passion for the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City and a commitment to community impact.WORKING CONDITIONS:Hybrid work environment with the expectation of presence at BBBS of NYC office a minimum of 2 days a week, as well as attendance at events and key meetings.Occasional evening or weekend work may be required around major events and deadlines.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:?Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 annuallyDental, Health, and Vision Insurance (immediate eligibility)?403b Retirement Plan?Hybrid Work Schedule/Flexible Work Arrangements?14 Federal Holidays + Summer & Winter Office Closure?Generous Vacation & Sick TimeTO APPLY:Please submit your
