The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) seeks a Vice President of Marketing to lead and develop our core marketing and brand strategy efforts. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strategic leadership and marketing activities know-how to lead a team of marketing professionals in delivering engaging and compelling content supporting our membership association and elevating the NAIA brand. As a member of the NAIA's internal Leadership Team, you will be responsible for building an influential digital marketing presence, incorporating social media channels, managing PR, overseeing email campaigns to various constituents, creating compelling content, and overseeing athletics communications efforts to promote NAIA's championships.

Responsibilities:

- Create and lead the overall marketing strategy for the NAIA, aligning within the organization, and leading execution of the strategy.

- Lead the NAIA's brand advocacy initiative including oversight of the marketing agency, integration of brand messaging, implementation of identified promotional activities, and creation of membership advocacy platform.

- Build and maintain an influential digital marketing presence, incorporating social media channels and other platforms.

- Lead a team of marketing professionals in delivering engaging and compelling marketing content and efforts supporting our membership association and elevating the NAIA's brand

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that marketing and brand strategies align with the organization's and members' goals and objectives.

- Monitor and analyze marketing and brand performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the NAIA remains competitive in intercollegiate athletics.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a marketing leadership role.

- Marketing experience within the intercollegiate athletics, sports, or membership association space.

- Established track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and brand strategies.

- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices.

- Proven oversight of marketing metrics, both leading and lagging indicators, to evaluate all marketing activities and monitor and report results
