Established in late 2017, this is a small yet fast-growing E-commerce business that designs and sells innovative poultry equipment. What You'll Do:

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will research, lead, and manage marketing and social media strategies, creating increased brand awareness, innovative product lines, and increased sales to meet and exceed business goals.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

  • Oversees social media efforts to develop and implement marketing, branding, and advertising strategies and campaigns that ensure overall marketing and branding alignment that speaks to ideal customers.
  • Acquires customers through building, publishing, scaling, and optimizing digital ad campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube), emails and affiliate acquisitions to drive growth from cold traffic leads and existing buyers.
  • Designs, writes and plans social media, blogs, E-newsletters, evergreen nurture campaigns, and marketing content, along with establishing new targeted accounts, that drives consumers to the brand and/or website for increased brand awareness and sales.
  • Coordinates and implements content, website changes/updates, and other marketing activities aligned to the product goals, ROI, and overall budget.
  • Builds segmented ad campaigns around planned sales & promotions to ensure maximized profits.
  • Solicits and procures user-generated content to repurpose for ads & socials as needed.
  • Performs and analyzes marketing trends and ROI on current activities, making adjustments to websites, content, and other media outlets to ensure profit and sales goals are achieved.
  • Tests new acquisition channels, tools & strategies as resources allow to attract and convert more affiliate partners.
  • Manages and leads the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to ensure revenue growth and monthly CAC expectations are met and/or exceeded.
  • Builds and maintains relationships and ongoing engagement with existing partners to expand revenue.
  • Coordinates with the customer service team to ensure engagement and follow-up expectations are being met.
  • Collaborates with the leadership team to develop & execute a strategic promotional calendar.
  • Directs the creative team for all content/design needs and supports in the development of order pamphlets/inserts to ensure overall brand and marketing materials are aligned.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Branding, or similar field preferred; will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of Digital Marketing experience with 1-2 years' eCommerce experience. Experience within meat processing, farm, agriculture, E-Commerce, manufacturing or related industries preferred. Experience in managing six-figure ad spend needed.
  • Certifications: N/a
  • Functional Skills: Strong research, analytical and critical thinking ability; forward-thinking with strong business and market acumen to recommend solutions; excellent at prioritizing, planning, and executing various projects at one time; creative ability to develop content that is aesthetically pleasing and drives action; excellent attention to details. Able to manage P&L with a strong ability to conceptualize and create enhancements.
  • Technology Aptitude/Skills: Advanced ability with technology, social media, websites and ERP programs preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Language Skills: Strong verbal and written skillset; able to present and influence others.

Position Pay

Base salary with bonus is negotiable based on experience.

Reports To: Owner

Core Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Typical Work Week: Monday to Friday; 35-40 hours/week

Direct Reports: None

Work Conditions: Remote; with occasional travel to Roanoke location for strategic planning.

Travel: Limited travel required
