JOB DESCRIPTION

Shef is launching a new weekly meal delivery service in NYC intended for new parents & families with kids 0-10, who want access to high quality homemade food for the family, made by passionate shefs In their neighborhood with quality ingredients.

We're seeking a creative and results-driven Part-Time Content Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual with a passion for content creation, digital marketing, and food! As a Content & Marketing Contractor, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and helping to grow our brand presence online.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our target demographic (busy urban parents in NYC with kids aged 0-10)

This role reports to the Head of Marketing and will collaborate with members of marketing, product, operations, and the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation:
  • Develop and manage high-quality, engaging content for our social media channels, blog, website, and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content.
Social Media Management:
  • Plan, create, and schedule posts across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.
Affiliate & Influencer Marketing:
  • Seek out and engage with publishers & influencers that could bring our brand presence to a wider audience and accelerate our content creation strategy
REQUIREMENTS
    • 3-5 years of experience
    • Knowledge of the target demographic (busy urban parents in NYC with kids aged 0-10)
    • Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing.
    • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills with a strong attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using social media management tools
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive marketing decisions.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Passion for food and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
HOURS & COMPENSATION
    • Part-time position (20-25 hours per week).
    • Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
    • Flexible working hours with the ability to work remotely.
