We are seeking a motivated, bright, proactive individual who is highly detail-oriented and interested in joining the team to support innovative testing services that are transforming care for Inflammatory bowel disease and other autoimmune diseases.

SUMMARY

The marketing and event specialist will be responsible for increasing customer awareness and communications in collaboration with marketing, sales, and market access teams. The marketing and event specialist will be responsible for coordinating communications between marketing and the commercial organization along with spearheading the company presence at events in support of commercial activities. This role will cross-functionally support commercial and clinical education. This individual should have a passion for content marketing, branding, event coordination, and digital analytics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

includes the following:

Play a key role in the preparations and scheduling of communications, including managing a promotional calendar; copywriting, creative development, and proofing of patient and HCP materials (print, website, landing pages, email, social, video).

Develop, monitor, and report metrics for marketing campaigns.

Maintain consistency and brand standards. Have a working knowledge of print and digital production.

Manage and improve corporate website including HCP, payer, and patient content.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners (sales, commercial analytics, client services, regulatory, compliance, legal, R&D, market access, etc. to successfully create and implement programs to support commercial.

Manage external vendors and marketing budget to support commercial activities.

Lead coordination and company presence at conferences, speaker programs, educational events, and other events supporting marketing activities. Responsibilities include attendee management, website and print material preparations, on-site logistics, vendor coordination, budget management.

Support logistics, participate, and present at internal commercial meetings including the national sales meeting and training programs.

Communicate plans and performance effectively to senior management.

Support marketing Promotional Review Committee and Laboratory Review Committee processes.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Ability to travel domestically 5-10%.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree preferably in Biological or Health Sciences, Marketing, or Communications is highly desirable. Experience in clinical laboratory, diagnostic or other clinically-related marketing, sales, and/or other supporting commercial roles preferred and may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.

Strong project management, planning and organizational/time management skills. Preference for individuals with previous trade show and meeting management experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Experience with Pardot, Salesforce, html, Adobe InDesign. WordPress, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Analytics desired. Proven experience in mastering new software applications.

LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Proven and effective interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a positive, friendly, and professional manner. Excellent communication skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
